Written by Charity Roberts on . Posted in News

The Georgia Department of Education’s Division for Special Education Services and Supports has been supportive of districts and partnering agencies to provide opportunities for students to participate in initiatives that promote self-determination which align with the Georgia’s Systems of Continuous Improvement process to cultivate the whole child and improve graduation rates for all students. The GaDOE is committed to supporting the scaling up of self-determination initiatives across the state including student-led IEPs, ASPIRE and the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI).

Training will consist of two one-hour webinars and one face to face training.
